If you have ever crossed the Mackinac Bridge you know the feeling -- the grandeur. If you have crossed the Ambassador Bridge from Windsor to Detroit you know the feeling -- the grandeur of shared waters. The Great Lakes state must rise above this day's pain, and create the Michigan that will again show the world, the way.
